We’re thrilled to welcome Dame Vivienne Westwood back from across the pond. The notoriously punk designer has set up shop in Los Angeles, bringing her flair for the dramatic and British sensibilities to the West Coast set. Clad in Westwood duds, stars like Heidi Klum, Zoe Saldana, Kristin Davis, Dita Von Teese and Christina Hendricks turned out to celebrate the designer’s Melrose arrival at the newly finished space and topped off the evening with a private dinner at Chateau Marmont.

Good news for all the diehard Coco Rocha fans out there: With quite a bit of help from her husband, the model (here, on the catwalk at Mugler) launched a personal Web site yesterday that archives her seven-year-long modeling career, including all runway looks, editorials, and magazine covers. Experimental makeup artist Alex Box is taking face painting to a higher level with a performance called “The Evolution of Surface.” Teaming up with MAC, Box creates fantastical looks using “motion-control technology to virtually paint on a 3-D face shown on a screen.” She’s at the New Museum at New York tonight and Milk Studios in L.A. on Friday.
