The Echoism Project by Artist Julian Wolkenstein is an interactive study on the perception of beauty and identity. Wolkenstein had subjects sit for a photo portrait, she then sliced their face into two sections, then the sections are horizontally flipped to make two separate, perfectly symmetrical faces. The results are pretty astounding. You can echoize yourself by uploading your pic to the website. Which side of your face you prefer plays a big role on your left-right brain dominance, and results differ at different times of the day. Try it in the morning when you wake up and again after getting home late from the bar.
