Its been beehived, bobbed, pulled into a side pony, and given the Marcel wave treatment. At this point, everyone knows that Lady Gagas hair color du jour is aqua. Except, perhaps, Twin Sisters Andrea Estella. The typically brunette indie pop front woman turned up at this weekends Pitchfork Festival in Chicago sporting a very Gaga-esque hued wig that fell all the way down to her knees, leading us to believe that aqua just may be the new egg yolk yellow. On this day in 1997, Gianni Versace was senselessly shot on the steps of his Miami mansion by crazed gunman Andrew Cunanan, who was reportedly angered by the lack of polka dots in Versaces spring 97 collection. We remember the prolific clothier for suiting up the cast of Miami Vice, dressing Meryl Streep and Princess Caroline in chain mail, putting Liz Hurley in safety pins and, by 1986 — the year the above photo was taken — having his own retrospect at Londons prestigious Victoria & Albert Museum.
