Yesterday, Vogues Lawren Howell and Barneys creative director Amanda Brooks hosted an in-store luncheon to celebrate Goyards new outpost within the luxury retailers Beverly Hills location.
And while the likes of Janie Bryant, Jeanne Yang, Juan Carlos Obando and actresses Erika Christensen and Abigail Spencer nibbled on tuna nicoise and French macarons, we simply stared at Goyard steamer trunks and drooled.
Nevermind the fact that wed have to become street walkers to afford such a regal piece of luggage (or the airfare to any exotic locale worth taking it).

It’s hard to imagine actress Cameron Diaz in anything but a snow white bikini, gripping a surfboard as a Charlie’s Angel on the beach. Sure, it was for a film, but Diaz is famous for wearing clothing that accentuates her best assets, both on and off the set. At nearly every major appearance, Diaz is sure to be in a look that gives more than a peek at her killer legs and toned arms.
The 38-year-old has been busy promoting her new film “Bad Teacher,” which hits theaters Friday, and in which she stars opposite Jason Segel and Justin Timberlake.
At a photo call for the film in Madrid, Diaz showed off her signature legs, looking summer-ready in a crisp white Equipment romper, fiery red belt and pink tweed blazer by Elizabeth and James.
