Sarah is a true fashionista who really knows her stuff.  We love her choice of outfits especially this gorgeous black and cream striped dress, perfect for work or meeting friends. She’s also done a great job picking out some fantastic pieces for the wintertime, all of which are bang-on-trend and bound to keep you cosy. She’s even said some nice things about our new S/S12 range too!

If you’ve ever had a dry itchy scalp you know how miserable it can be. Many things can cause your scalp to become itchy. Emma Watson Crop Triggers Return Of Iconic Hairstyles

In a Modern Salon Blog dated 06/08/10 writer Melissa Hill discussed the The Death of the Iconic Hairstyle.  Hill interviewed famed colorist and Matrix Artistic Color Director Patrick McIvor and LOreal Professional Portfolio Artist Amit Abraham to uncover who was next in line to claim the title of iconic hairstyle.

Although Farrah Fawcett Major was known for The Farrah followed by Jennifer Anistons The Rachel, McIvor and Abraham told Hill they believed the era of the iconic hairstyles which have graces thousands of heads over the last hundred years was over.  Finished.  Done.

Why?  McIvor and Abraham pointed out that with the current trend towards complete individualism in hair, fashion and lifestyle, the climate isnt right for the rise of a new iconic hairstyle.

Patrick McIvor told Hill “In the past, you could always go, ‘that’s the trend.’ Or you go, ‘no, it’s the wrong color.’ Now today, the trends are always customizable. You’ll never see them

Ewok One recently collaborated with Converse for a dope new mural in Williamsburg. Ewok created the mural for Converse Rubber Tracks, a new program which provides free recording sessions at no cost. Professional sound engineers are on hand throughout the entire process and each artist gets to own the tracks after recording. Check out this fresh video of Ewok getting up and discussing the process behind his Converse piece.
